Job Description The Opportunity: As the Associate Engineer, Vendor Quality, you will be responsible for performing routine quality-related tasks based on detailed instructions and established processes. You will report to a Vendor Quality Manager based in China. What Your Impact Will Be: • Perform pre-shipment inspections when required • Conduct self-inspections (e.g., IBV), including audit execution and follow-up on remediation actions under guidance • Assist in Quality System Assessments and follow up on improvement actions with guidance • Support root cause investigations, analysis, and determination of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including tracking effectiveness of implementation • Collect, consolidate, and analyze quality data and maintain accurate records • Study product features, manufacturing processes, and controls to support manufacturing risk assessments, and drive improvements with guidance • Monitor manufacturing processes as needed • Assist in driving improvements in Quality KPIs • Support identification and timely reporting of vendor quality issues [Requirements] • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience • College or Bachelor in Engineering or related disciplines • Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, and spoken communication) • Fundamental knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) • Familiarity with quality tools such as PFMEA, Cause-and-Effect Diagram, and 5 Whys analysis • Effective communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical thinking • High level of integrity
