Position Title: Product Design Engineer, Launch – Global team Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily bus from Hanoi/ Hai Duong/ Bac Ninh) Report to: NPD Supervisor (International Team) MOLEX, a brand under Koch Industries, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois (USA), is one of the world’s leading interconnect solution providers. Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory at Thang Long Industrial Park I since 2007. Currently, Molex is investing in a new factory complex located at Thang Long Industrial Park II in Hung Yen Province. The project has a total investment of approximately USD 145 million, covering an area of 100,000 m² and being developed in three phases. This facility will manufacture high-tech products such as high-speed cables, connectors, optical devices, and liquid cooling solutions. Your Role We are seeking a Product Design Engineer, Launch to support product launch, manufacturing transfer, and production ramp-up at our Vietnam site. Acting as the key technical bridge between the Taiwan Design Center and Vietnam factory, you will drive NPI execution, resolve manufacturing challenges, and ensure products are launched successfully in terms of quality, cost, schedule, and manufacturability. Key Responsibilities Lead NPI activities from design transfer through production launch. Support prototype builds, pilot runs, validation, and ramp-up activities. Resolve product, assembly, tooling, and manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving methods. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in DFM/DFA reviews, design validation, and production readiness assessments. Coordinate with global engineering, quality, operations, and supplier teams. Support tooling, fixture, equipment, and supplier readiness for mass production. [Requirements] Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Design Engineering, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in Product Development, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or related roles. Hands-on experience with production launch, factory transfer, or ramp-up projects. Knowledge of DFM/DFA, GD&T, DOE, FACA/8D, NPI processes, and engineering documentation. CAD proficiency (UG NX preferred). Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Intermediate English or above.
