BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB: 1. Supervised daily operations of the indirect material team, including work scheduling, task assignment, on-site supervision and performance evaluation, ensuing smooth and efficient execution of all the indirect material tasks (Indirect materials, chemicals, gas, etc.) 2. Optimized warehouse layout and IM storage methods implemented FIFO management principle, which improved goods circulation efficiency and reduced inventory. 3. Strictly implemented warehouse safety management regulation, organized regular safety training 4. Trained new warehouse employees on operating procedures, equipment uses and safety rules, improving team overall professional competence and work efficiency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Warehouse 20% • Oversee all daily activities of the indirect materials operations warehouse, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and issuing of goods. • Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing procedures and policies. • Resolve and feedback all stock/process/system issues to person and department involved. • Control age sensitive materials to limit goods expired date. • Conduct cycle counts and stock counts as procedure defined. • Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and security at the working environment. • Maintain stock items in good condition and accurately to prevent broken and mixed material to production. • Implement and maintain related system management (WMS, U8, MES, Self-developed system and KANBAN etc) • EHS compliance. 2) Management 40% • Track key performance indicators. and Improvement • Classify and segregate chemicals according to their hazard categories, maintain proper labelling, MSDS filing, and hazard communication • Familiar with domestic chemical-related compliance requirements • Manage the waste disposal of chemical residues and related materials in compliance with environmental requirements (EPE/regulations) • Oversee and foresee warehouse load, activities to utilize the efficiency of facilities for storing and distributing Indirect materials, Chemical material etc. • Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded. • Maintain the frequency of improvements, projects and lead them to meet the defined timeline, responsible for the ongoing development. • Coordinated and communicated effectively with cross-functional departments including production, plan and purchasing • Update documents and lead team to work in compliant with ISO and EHS requirement at daily work. 3) Leadership • Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, management & engaged and empowered to deliver a high and supervision. sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities. • Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization. • Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms. • Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on- going and focused on development and done with 100% On Time kitting. • Ensure a free flow of two-way information for your organization to work effectively and communication channels are active and open. • Ensure an accident-free environment by following all EH&S policies and procedures, maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment and openly endorsing and creating an attitude that all accidents are preventable within your sphere of influence. • Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations and Coherent and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area. 4) Compliance • Ensure the disposal of indirect materials in compliance with an EPE. • Maintain the warehouse cameras in operation and report the problems in a timely manner. • Storage all the materials in the right places and warehouse’s functions. 5) Others • Cooperate mutually among related department in charges to support production activities. • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative in working with other departments. • Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department terms. [Requirements] Requirements: Educational Background College degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field. Working Experience 6+ years of working experience in manufacturing company with 4+ years of warehouse management/leadership experience. Using Oracle ERP/WMS is preferred. Abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lead a team in warehousing working environment is an advantage. Good computing skills, preferably with Microsoft Office Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competency. Self-motivated with good time management and organization skills Ability to drive forklift is a plus. Good at Communication skills. Familiarity with inventory control practices,packaging and logistics
