Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities Safety & Housekeeping: • Ensure all company Health & Safety policy and regulations are strictly implemented and satisfied. • Establish and maintain high level of Health and safety mindset/culture within own area of responsibility. • Create and maintain a world-class working environment with strong 5S practices, professional appearance, and safety best practices. Laboratory operational: • Ensure all SOPs/W.Is are reviewed/updated/followed correctly. • Ensure laboratory operational KPIs are met and continuously improved, including: Attempt per shade, Samples lead time, Lot per machine per day, sample rejection rate and Color quality promote to bulk. • Work with maintenance to identify and correct poorly performing machinery. • Control the laboratory working hour per output. • Manage effectively the communication between Sales & Marketing, customers and the laboratory. • Recommend, agree and implement improvements to the process flow with a view to making the color sampling service more competitive. Discipline: • Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinates. • Ensure working hour regulations are strictly followed. • Conduct Performance Review yearly with Subordinates. [Requirements] • University Graduated – preferably textile, chemical or engineering field • Good technical knowledge of dyeing methods, dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals • Fluently in English • Having experience in textile dyeing, colorist is a big advantage
