• Daily travel and work in different factories (Hai Duong, Hai Phong, etc.) • Perform in-line check, and During Production Inspection (DPI)/ Final Random Inspections (FRI) at various locations/Factories and report to QC supervisor/ Manager. • Work with factory on quality issues on daily production and follow up on improvement action. • Work with 3rd party QC company / customer QC on product confirmation and reliability, packaging, testing compliance. • Draw and seal sample to send out to outside lab test and review and check quality for licensor and sales samples. • Performed twice a month sharp tools control audit for push toy factories. • Identify, anticipate, and manage risks or issues prior to each development milestone, and provide alternate solutions. Report and escalate potential red flags to management, as needed, with clear and defined plans and resolutions. • Ability to document, monitors, and track vendor’s daily, weekly and monthly output. [Requirements] - Have experience in a QC role within the Toy industry is preferable. - Familiar with Toy industry’s international safety standards, including CPSIA, ASTM, EN71, Canada, AU… - Good understanding of Physical/Chemical standards for US, EU, Canada, AU…and other countries; - Quality control testing and inspection experience for Toy Industry – Plush, Figure and Electronics. - Solid experience working with global and international retail and toy companies such as: Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Hasbro, Mattel… and familiar with the relative requirements for each company. - Be able to work independently with factories. - Can Speak, Read, & Write in English, - Experience with manufacturing/ buying office/ trading office is preferred. - Experience with injection/blow molding; different types of plastic materials; manufacturing, and/or engineering costs for durable goods, is preferred. - Strong interest and/or passion for toys a plus!
