Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA) is a leading foreign investment consultancy firm with many offices across Asia providing value-added services to clients from all over the world. DSA Vietnam is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance professional to help contribute to our accounting and finance advisory services. This Senior Associate position will work with our Corporate Accounting Services team to provide expert guidance and financial services to our international clients.
DSA invites candidates with over 3 years of working experience in Accounting or Financial Advisory Services to apply for our Senior Associate position based in our Hanoi office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Handle daily accounting works full accounting, and financial works for assigned clients;
• Prepare & review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports including Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Foreign Contractor’s Tax, and others as per set deadlines;
• Research applicable regulations and provide recommendations and advice to add value for clients;
• Prepare and review advisory reports of tax issues, finance, and accounting matters when required;
• Provide guidance and feedback that contributes to the development of the Client’s staff (if any);
• Deliver assigned work with attention to detail, high quality, and timely delivery;
• Prepare concise, well-written documents using appropriate business and technical language;
• Attend meetings with prospects, clients, targets’ representatives, and other advisors;
• Due to the nature of the projects, the role may involve a combination of off-site work (done from the DSA office) and on-site work and visits (in Vietnam and potentially overseas);
• Support Manager in training, managing, and reviewing the work of junior staff, and with other tasks on an ad-hoc basis;
[Requirements]
• More than 5 years’ experience in Accounting/Tax, ideally in a consulting or accounting firm environment.
• Good experience with ERP software, especially during the implementation stage. The ERP software prefers D365, Kingdee (or Yongyou), Odoo, Oracle, etc.
• Valuable experience in the manufacturing company.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, auditing, and/or finance;
• Professional Qualification (ACCA, CFA, CPA, Tax certification) preferable.
• Experience with local accounting software such as Misa and excellent computer literacy.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, analytical thinking, communication, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• High level of teamwork, responsible and decisive.
• Proactive manner in working.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• Capable and eager to work with various types of people.
• Strong sense of ethics with emphasis on confidentiality and integrity.
