1. General Information
• Position: Art Director
• Department: Creative Solutions Team
• Reports to: General Director
• Salary: Negotiable based on experience
• Working Location: Diamond Plaza, 34 Le Duan, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
2. The Role
We are looking for an Art Director who shapes ideas visually, not just executes designs.
This role is for a senior visual creative with a sharp aesthetic eye, strong conceptual instincts, and the ability to translate communication strategies into compelling, culturally relevant visuals and key visual systems.
You will drive the visual development of ideas from initial concept to final execution across brand campaigns, integrated communications, and high-impact marketing initiatives for top-tier local and multinational clients.
3. What You Will Lead
Creative & Conceptual Leadership
• Own the visual direction across campaigns, brands, and integrated communications.
• Develop big visual ideas, key visuals, and campaign aesthetics rooted in insight and strategy.
• Define visual systems and creative territories that travel seamlessly across channels.
Integrated Communication Execution
• Translate communication platforms and brand strategies into bold, clear, and visually powerful executions.
• Ensure visual consistency and quality across brand, digital, social, OOH, film, activation, and experience.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Strategy, Account, and Production teams.
Art Direction & Quality Control
• Set and uphold visual standards across all outputs including design, photography, film, layout, and digital.
• Oversee photo/film shoots, motion direction, and post-production to ensure creative vision is realized.
• Push executions beyond 'good enough' toward distinctive, polished, and meaningful visual work.
Client Leadership & Pitching
• Present visual concepts with confidence and strategic rationale to internal and client teams.
• Support the Creative Director in major pitches and key client presentations.
• Defend creative decisions while remaining commercially and culturally grounded.
Team Collaboration & Creative Growth
• Mentor and inspire junior designers and visual creatives.
• Contribute to a culture of craft, strong thinking, and fearless visual creativity.
• Proactively share references, trends, and visual inspirations to elevate team output.
4. Who You Are
Experience
• 10+ years in advertising / creative / integrated marketing.
• 3–5+ years in a senior creative leadership role (Art Director / Lead Designer).
• Proven experience leading large-scale brand or integrated campaigns for premium brands.
Creative Strengths
• Exceptionally strong visual sensibility including layout, typography, photography, color, and motion.
• Solid conceptual thinking with the ability to develop ideas, not just execute briefs.
• Deep understanding of brand aesthetics, visual storytelling, and key visual systems.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion/video skills a plus.
Mindset
• A visual thinker who takes initiative and ownership of their work.
• Detail-oriented, craft-conscious, and never satisfied with mediocre execution.
• Curious, culturally aware, and constantly seeking fresh visual inspiration.
Language
• Fluent in English (working proficiency required).
5. Why Join Us
• Competitive Salary & Performance Bonus: Negotiable based on experience and creative leadership level.
• Dynamic & International Environment: Professional, structured working environment under a global corporation; work with top Korean and international experts in marketing and advertising. Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-budget projects with top-tier clients.
• Global Training & Career Advancement: Opportunities to receive professional training from Daehong Headquarters in Korea and participate in regional/global campaigns. A clear career path toward Senior Director.
