The opportunity: Join our manufacturing team as a Production Process Engineer - Transformers, where you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and sustaining efficient production processes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. How you'll make an impact: • You will be responsible to support the development and implementation of scalable manufacturing processes that meet business, quality, and safety requirements. • You will collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows, layouts, and manufacturing efficiency. • You will drive process improvement projects, equipment installations, and manufacturing startups to achieve operational objectives. • You will provide technical support and guidance to production and engineering teams, helping to resolve process-related challenges and improve standardization. • You will ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality and regulatory standards through validation activities, audits, and corrective actions. • You will support new product introduction (NPI) activities by designing, validating, and scaling manufacturing processes from pilot stages to production. • You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze process data, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, yield, and product quality. • You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and best practices to enhance operational performance and safety Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. [Requirements] Your background: • You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. • At least 1 year of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, or production managem ent. • Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and validation, as well as familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. • Proficiency in data analysis, KPI monitoring, and technical studies to support decision-making. • Ability to troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
