Execute mechanical engineering and design for plant equipment such as tanks, pressure vessels, ducts, hoppers, conveyors and maintenance platforms. Develop basic equipment designs, including layouts, equipment planning, duct routing, strength calculations, technical data sheets, purchase specifications and BQ lists. Prepare detailed fabrication drawings using 2D and 3D CAD. Review vendor drawings, specifications, procedures and other technical documents. Perform 3D model interference checks and coordinate with relevant engineering teams to resolve design issues. Review steel structure and maintenance platform drawings to ensure equipment integration and accessibility. Work closely with clients, suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution. [Requirements] University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong foundation in Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Dynamics and Thermodynamics. Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD) with the ability to read engineering drawings and understand drafting/welding symbols. Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor. Ideally 5+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design and/or plant engineering design. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams. Good English communication skills; TOEIC 650+ is preferred. JLPT N5 or above is a plus.
