Job Summary The Medical Equipment Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new customers and sales opportunities for InBody products and medical solutions across hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions in Hanoi and the assigned territory. A key focus of the role is proactive business development with private hospitals and other high-potential healthcare institutions. The Sales Executive is expected to understand the clinical needs of healthcare professionals and recommend suitable InBody solutions for relevant specialties and patient-management applications. The role covers the full sales cycle, from prospecting and meetings with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders to clinical application discussions, product demonstrations, quotations, contracts, payment follow-up, and ongoing customer management. The Sales Executive is also expected to build strong, long-term networks with healthcare professionals and key hospital stakeholders, maintain disciplined CRM and sales pipeline management, and achieve assigned revenue targets and sales KPIs. 2. Key Responsibilities 1) New Healthcare Customer Acquisition & Business Development - Actively identify and develop new customers across hospitals, private hospitals, specialty hospitals, clinics, health screening centers, nutrition centers, and other healthcare institutions in Hanoi and the assigned territory. - Place particular emphasis on developing private hospitals and other high-potential healthcare institutions to create new sales opportunities. - Generate new business through prospect list building, hospital and clinic visits, phone and online outreach, referrals, and existing professional networks. - Continuously identify new departments and use cases within healthcare institutions to expand business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. - Go beyond handling inbound inquiries or existing accounts by proactively identifying, approaching, and developing prospective customers into qualified sales opportunities. - Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales activity plans to expand new customer acquisition and revenue. 2) Medical Solution Consulting & Sales - Understand patient populations, clinical specialties, customer needs, and intended use through discussions with physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospital stakeholders. - Recommend suitable InBody products and solutions based on customer needs, explaining not only product features but also relevant applications in clinical practice and patient management. - Develop working knowledge of key medical applications and clinical areas, including Nutrition / Clinical Nutrition, Nephrology, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Oncology, Sarcopenia, Chronic Disease Management, Geriatrics, health screening, obesity and weight management, rehabilitation, and other relevant fields. - Understand and appropriately explain relevant uses such as nutritional assessment and intervention monitoring, body water and fluid-status assessment, monitoring of body composition changes, and sarcopenia-related assessment, according to the clinical context. - Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, customer trials, and on-site demos. - Support healthcare professionals in understanding InBody measurement results and key parameters and how they may be applied in relevant clinical and patient-management workflows. - Develop suitable sales proposals based on customer requirements, budget, and intended use, and support the customer’s purchasing decision. 3) Sales Process & KPI Management - Systematically manage the full sales process from lead generation, consultation, meetings, demos, proposals, quotations, and negotiation through contract and payment. - Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract-related documents and maintain consistent follow-up through deal closure. - Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers and follow up on payment progress after contract execution. - Achieve assigned individual revenue targets and sales KPIs. - Continuously manage key sales KPIs such as new customer development, customer visits, healthcare professional meetings, demos, sales opportunity creation, and other metrics assigned by the company. - Manage opportunity stages and expected closing timelines to improve the accuracy of sales forecasts. - Identify reasons for delayed or unsuccessful opportunities and execute appropriate follow-up and corrective sales actions. 4) Healthcare Professional & Hospital Network Development - Build long-term business relationships with physicians, specialists, department heads, healthcare professionals, hospital management, procurement contacts, and key decision-makers. - Develop ongoing relationships with healthcare professionals in key departments where InBody may have relevant applications, including Clinical Nutrition, Nephrology, ICU, Oncology, and Geriatrics. - Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders within hospitals and healthcare institutions to identify customer needs, new projects, and additional sales opportunities. - Build professional networks with key experts, industry partners, and KOLs and develop collaboration opportunities when relevant. - Participate in workshops, seminars, conferences, product demonstrations, and other medical activities to generate leads and expand professional networks in the healthcare market. - Maintain relationships with existing customers to identify opportunities for additional purchases, product expansion, and new clinical applications. 5) Market Intelligence & Internal Collaboration - Continuously collect information on the healthcare market, customer trends, competitors, competing products, pricing, and market developments in the assigned territory. - Monitor developments in major hospitals and healthcare institutions and identify emerging medical applications that may create new business opportunities. - Analyze competitor and market information and propose new customer segments or potential markets to the company. - Work closely with Medical, Marketing, Technical/Service, and Distributor teams to address customer needs and develop sales opportunities. - Share feedback and market insights gathered from customers and healthcare professionals to support improvements in products, medical marketing, and sales strategy. 6) CRM, Pipeline & Sales Reporting - Accurately and promptly record key account information, healthcare professional and stakeholder contacts, consultation history, customer visits, demos, and sales opportunities in the company CRM or designated sales management system. - Clearly manage each sales opportunity’s stage, expected revenue, estimated closing date, and next action. - Continuously update the sales pipeline and conduct appropriate follow-up on opportunities that have remained inactive or delayed. - Provide regular weekly and monthly sales plans, customer visit plans, pipeline updates, forecasts, and sales performance reports. - Continuously monitor personal revenue and KPI progress and plan and execute the sales activities required to achieve assigned targets. 3. Preferred Academic Background - Academic major is not a strict requirement; however, backgrounds in Medicine/Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology/Life Sciences, or other Healthcare and Medical-related fields are preferred. 4. Ideal Candidate Profile - Enjoys proactively finding new hospitals and healthcare professionals and building relationships rather than only managing assigned accounts. - Can actively develop private hospitals and other new healthcare institutions. - Can explain not only product specifications and pricing, but also how InBody can be applied in relevant clinical practice and patient-management workflows. - Has strong interest in medical and clinical knowledge and is willing to continuously learn new medical applications. - Can build relationships at multiple levels, including physicians, hospital management, relevant departments, and key decision-makers. - Can manage long medical sales cycles with persistence and convert opportunities into contracts through consistent follow-up. - Clearly understands revenue targets and KPIs and can systematically manage a personal sales pipeline and next actions. - A proactive medical sales professional who actively develops new healthcare markets and customers rather than waiting for opportunities.
