• Cover regulatory and internal reporting requirements for funds and segregated accounts managed by the Company to regulatory bodies and investors as assigned;
• Participate in the design, enhancement, and implementation of operational procedures, workflows, systems, and software to support FA activities;
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments & external parties to address & handle FA-related enquiries and issues from investors, service providers, business partners, auditors and regulatory bodies;
• Collaborate with relevant departments and participate in establishment and onboarding of new funds/mandates;
• Work closely with Legal & Compliance, Risk Management and Business Development teams in conducting KYC/AML for investors & service providers;
• Support the Head of FA in coordinating, coaching and guiding the FA team to ensure high service quality and operational efficiency.
• Participate in reviewing and strengthening internal controls, operational processes and risk management within FA.
• Act as a key point of contact with custodians, auditors and other service providers on FA for covered funds/manadtes;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by CEO and the Head of FA.
[Requirements]
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Auditing. A Master's degree and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent) will be a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Audit, or Financial Services, with at least 3 years in Senior or Team Lead position in a fund management company.
Skills and Attributes:
• Strong knowledge of fund valuation, fund operations, data processing and financial knowledge.
• Good understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices relating to fund management and securities markets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data processing skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities, with the ability to develop and motivate team members.
• Ability to work under high pressure and good at teamwork.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, Power BI, or other data analytics and process automation tools will be a plus.
