1. Assist the Manager – Tungsten Procurement and Supply Chain Companiance to develop and execute on the Procurement plan for the region, driving focus on key segments, regions, and suppliers, and leveraging MHT’s market position to deliver a commercial advantage to the business. 2. Liaise with suppliers on commercial negotiations to meet business KPI’s such as margin, payable days, quality, and support commercial decision making by the executive management. Liaise with suppliers on an ongoing basis to ensure MHT needs are met on time, quality, and cost basis. 3. Conduct commercial negotiations and deliver good business results for MHT, ensure that contracts are performed accurately through the contract lifecycle. Ensure business KPI’s such as inventory management, accounts payables aging, quality are met, and report regularly on performance to executive management. 4. Ensure that market intelligence routines and analysis are conducted including, market analysis, competitor analysis, review of trade statistics, project information and monitoring. 5. Prepare and collate all pre and post-shipping documents including Packing Lists, B/L, shipping manifest, Certificates of Assay, Certificate of Weight, Certificate of Origin, Customs Declaration, Invoice (provisional and final), etc. 6. Draft purchase contracts under supervision, and liaise with Legal, Customs, and Finance departments to ensure that commercial terms are agreeable and in line with business expectations. 7. Liaise directly with Supply Chain department to ensure sufficient freight coverage that shipments can sail in accordance with forecast, and production. Problem solve freight delays and unforeseen circumstances to avoid any customer impact. 8. Coordinate shipments with production to meet the supplier (contract) requirements and MHT’s requirements (inventory, ship availability). 9. Assist with development of Procurement budget and maintain the accuracy of the internal forecast tools. 10.To prepare documentation for customs clearance (Invoice, PL, CDF, P/O, Certificate of Assay, etc) (co-ordinate with Finance/ Accounting for import-tax payment if any). Ensure import customs clearance is obtained in a timely manner and accurately. 11. Ensure the Entering & maintaining pricing and sales data in SAP in a timely manner. 12. Ensure that the shipment forecast and production coordination records are updated accurately, and in a timely manner. Regularly check the record change logs, and shipment ready date record to arrange container bookings accordingly. 13. Coordinate with Finance Team to reconcile supplier payments on a weekly basis. Track payments to supplies and follow up immediately if payments are late or short. Update trade logs. 14. Key coordinator for all incoming requests on compliance topics; ESG, CSR, Conflict Minerals, and manage the execution process to ensure timely collection and analysis of compliance data; KYC, sanctions checking, Conflict Mineral Reporting Template (CMRT) etc. 15. Assist and coordinate the Annual Conflict Minerals audit of Masan Tungsten Company (MTC) a subsidiary of MHT. [Requirements] - University graduate in English and International Business, Foreign trade, economics, Commerce, International business. - Professional knowledge relating to import- export, international payments, shipping, understanding of international commerce and contract law; INCOTERMS, risk management (credit, counterparty, pricing, contractual). - Basic knowledge of Conflict Minerals Compliance regulations and reporting, experience with the Responsible Business Alliance and Responsible Minerals Initiative preferred. - Need 2-3 years of experience on exporting bulk shipments, finalize pricing procedure with VN customs. - Good organizational skills, time management, phone communication and teamwork, able to prioritize work load and adapt to changing demands. - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). SAP/ERP experience would be an advantage
