JOB OBJECTIVE
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution logistics for Gustavo Gano’s nationwide retail chain of premium fashion stores. This role ensures timely stock replenishment, high inventory accuracy, efficient space utilization, and cost-effective distribution while maintaining high standards of garment care and handling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Warehouse Operations & Facility Management:
• Oversee daily inbound receiving, quality control (QC), storage, order picking, packing, and outbound dispatch to all retail stores and e-commerce channels.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage capacity, and workflows (hanging garments, folded apparel, accessories) for maximum operational efficiency and garment safety.
• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, security, and compliance with occupational safety and fire protection standards.
* Inventory Control & Accuracy:
• Maintain high inventory accuracy (>98%) through regular cycle counts, full physical stock audits, and reconciliation in the ERP/WMS system.
• Monitor stock movements, identify slow-moving or aging inventory, and collaborate with the Retail and Commercial teams on clearance or reallocation strategies.
• Minimize stock shrinkage, damages, and discrepancy losses across all handling stages.
* Logistics & Store Replenishment:
• Coordinate with internal retail teams and 3PL (third-party logistics) vendors to ensure scheduled, accurate, and cost-effective store deliveries across provinces.
• Manage high-volume inventory flows during peak retail seasons, new collection launches, promotional campaigns, and new store openings.
• Handle return logistics (RTV - Return to Vendor, store-to-warehouse transfers, damaged goods handling) systematically.
* Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
• Lead, train, and manage warehouse supervisors, stock clerks, and forklift/packing staff.
• Establish, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, sorting, barcoding, and dispatching.
• Implement and track key warehouse metrics (Order Fulfillment Cycle Time, Picking Accuracy, Warehouse Cost per Unit, Inventory Turnover).
