About the Role:
Manage the operations of projects smoothly with the 3 rd party Lab, Factory and Engineering teams by independently.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
• Lead activities associated with construction reviews of proposed designs. Ensure that reviews are complete and accurate. Ensure that the design team has a clear understanding of review results.
• For each certification project, identify the applicable market access requirements, present the requirements to the design team and address any questions the team may have.
• Review the design team’s schedules and ensure that they are properly built out to meet requirements for compliance activities. Work with the team to arrive at consensus on the schedule for compliance activities.
• Proactively collect needed documents and samples on a timely basis so that the third-party agency has everything needed to execute the certification project.
• Actively manage the progress of the agency certification, ensuring that the agency is progressing on schedule. Any subsequent agency requests are addressed quickly and correctly so that the project can remain on track.
• Reviews of all complete work products from the agencies to ensure completeness and correctness of reports and documents. Actively resolves any documentation issues directly with the agency.
• Work with US team to ensure the project information is communicated correctly. Ensure all project progress on the same page.
• Follow-up with suppliers to ensure continued compliance on an on-going basis.
• Clearly communicate SN and industry standard requirements.
[Requirements]
• 8+ years consumer product compliance experience, appliance experience preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience managing regulatory compliance submissions.
• Experience with and understanding of domestic and international requirements including UL 499, UL 982, UL 1017, UL 2595, IEC 62133 and UL/IEC 60335 Series Standards highly desired.
• Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieve results.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency while not compromising the quality of work.
• Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.
• Ability to come up with creative, analytical solutions to complex, technical problems.

Education/Certifications/Affiliations:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, EE Preferred.
Travel Requirements:
• Be flexible for domestic and international travel.
