Duties
• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries for all financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare annual and periodic budgets for project setup, operational activities, and departmental expenditures; monitor actual spending against budget and provide variance analysis.
• Process and manage payments to suppliers, contractors, and service providers in accordance with approved payment schedules and internal control procedures.
• Issue invoices, payment requests, and related billing documents to customers; monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely collection and minimize overdue balances.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliation of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Support cash flow planning and monitor cash positions to ensure sufficient funding for operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, supporting documents, and financial records for internal and external audits.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory tax filings, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), and other regulatory reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, customers, and suppliers on accounting and financial matters when required.
• Support the Finance & Accounting Manager in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting exercises, and ad hoc projects.
Admin:
• Handle general affairs jobs for the office including office administration, basic bookkeeping, and tax filing, accounting documentation, and assistance to Board of Director.
• Prepare relevant papers/documents for the visits/meetings and make visits/meeting memos and/or reports.
Others:
Any other jobs requested and assigned by Management or Project Leader
[Requirements]
• Degree in Economics/ Accountant or any related degree
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting and office secretary / project secretary jobs
• Holding Chief Accountant Certificate can be an advantage
• Good skills of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good English and Communication
