PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: This person is primarily involved in the development or improvement of new and existing products/designs. They are responsible for managing high level design projects through all phases – from concept to prototype to production. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Manages high level design projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of product design/development and production readiness are completed accurately and according to schedule. • Review quality-related tasks including ISIRs, RMAs, CARs, MRRs, deviations, PPAPs, etc. • Prepares detailed lab report outlines for lab technicians to effectively perform testing. • Provides technical support for other departments. • Provides technical support to customers, including onsite support as needed. • Provides technical support to the Vietnamese factory, including onsite support as needed. • Maintains proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software. • Complies with all aspects of the safety program An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Ensure priorities and deadlines are met • Ensure compliance at all times with company policies and guidelines • Attend training classes as deemed necessary by the company • Attend off-hour video conferences with US divisions • Always represent the company and its values in a professional and business-like manner • Other duties as assigned by the Design Engineering Manager and Engeering Manager [Requirements] EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCES: • Bachelor’s in manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred) • Requires 4-year college degree (or equivalent) • Requires 1 to 3 years’ experience • Requires electromechanical product design with experience in 3D CAD modeling software. • Requires experience using lab equipment such as power supplies, meters, environmental chambers, etc • Requires the ability to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge and basic understanding of the following technical skills including exposure from studies in university: • Studied computer aided 2D and 3D drawing, applications and use of software – AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent • Understanding of technical drawings, blueprints and specifications • Understanding and application of hydraulics • Experienced with lathes, drill presses and milling machines • Studied Programmable Logic Controllers understanding application and programming • Studied statistical process controls • Studied software application programming in Microsoft or other technologies REQUIRED SKILLS: • Strong analytical skills and able to troubleshoot complex issues • General electrical and mechanical knowledge • Hard working and a team player • Fluency in English and Vietnamese – spoken and written • Good written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products BENEFITS: • 13th Salary • 12 Days Annual Leave • Annual Company Bonus (dependent on Company performance) • Extra Health Insurance
