Role Summary This role serves as the primary interface with Japanese investors, responsible for independently presenting, explaining, and following up on investment opportunities in a clear and professional manner. The position also bridges investors and internal teams by translating complex financial, legal, and structural matters into clear, structured communication to support decision-making and drive effective deal execution. Key Responsibilities Coordination, Investor Interaction & Coverage - Act as the primary contact and directly represent the company in engaging with Japanese investors, leading and managing the full investor interaction process at the management level, including presentations, discussions, and post-meeting follow-ups. - Proactively manage and coordinate the full flow of investor communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent information handling. - Work closely with internal teams to consolidate technical inputs, understand key financial, legal, tax, and structural matters, and translate them into clear investor-facing communication, without independently providing legal advice. - Clearly and effectively communicate technical matters based on internal inputs, in a manner appropriate to the transaction context. - Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with Japanese investors, ensuring they have a clear understanding of information provided to support timely decision-making. Documentation & Investment Communication - Develop and deliver investor-facing materials (investment teasers, presentations, Q&A, investment memos) that clearly articulate the investment thesis, financial rationale, and deal structure. - Go beyond translation by interpreting and structuring complex information into clear, logical, and investor-friendly communication. - Perform quality control on all investor materials before external sharing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professionalism. Deal Process Support - Lead and manage investor-facing workstreams across the full investment lifecycle, from opportunity introduction to transaction closing. - Coordinate investor-related activities including Q&A, due diligence (DD), follow-ups, and progress updates, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines. - Monitor progress, identify issues proactively, and propose appropriate solutions. Team Supervision & Quality Control - Guide, assign tasks, and support the development of junior team members. - Review and ensure the quality of team deliverables prior to external submission. - Oversee work progress and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Other Duties - Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time. [Requirements] Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, investment advisory, M&A, corporate finance, banking, fund management, real estate development, or transaction advisory at a Big Four firm. - Strong preference for candidates with experience working with Japanese investors or corporates. - Strong understanding of investment-related matters, including financial analysis, project feasibility and performance assessment, investment structuring, due diligence processes, and key legal and commercial considerations. - Ability to understand real estate investment projects and clearly explain them to Japanese corporate clients. - Ability to independently handle meetings, presentations, investor Q&A, and follow-up communication. - Ability to coordinate with internal teams and consolidate technical inputs into clear investor-facing explanations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for investment analysis and presentation. - Strong business-level proficiency in Japanese, English, and Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate directly with clients.
