1. Pre-establishment Support for Company Registration Assist in preparatory work for setting up our Single-Member Limited Liability Company (SLLC) in Vietnam. Be familiar with the whole process of foreign-invested enterprise registration, customs filing and coordinate with business registration authority, customs and tax authorities. Collate and review documents related to customs and import/export compliance for company registration. Support business scope validation, prepare application materials for import & export license and customs registration to ensure smooth company incorporation and activation of customs qualifications. Conduct preliminary research on Vietnam import & export regulations, tariff rules and customs compliance requirements, provide compliance advice for the company’s future trading operations and mitigate customs and trading risks. Support application for enterprise customs code, activation of VNACCS / VCIS electronic customs system, company customs filing and import-export entitlement registration and other pre-launch formalities. 2. End-to-End Import & Export Customs Clearance Independently handle customs declaration for sea, air and land shipments. Perform HS code classification, valuation review, tax calculation, Certificate of Origin (C/O) application and FTA preferential tariff claim. Verify full set of customs documents including contracts, commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading to ensure consistency among documents and goods, minimize customs inspection risks. Operate Vietnam electronic customs platform to complete declaration, tax payment, cargo release and delivery follow-up. Resolve customs inspection, amendment, cargo detention, port demurrage and other clearance exceptions in a timely manner. Liaise with local customs authorities, freight forwarders, logistics providers and customs brokers to maintain stable working relationships and ensure efficient cargo clearance. 3. Customs Compliance & Document Administration Keep updated on changes of Vietnam customs policies, tariff schedules and import/export control regulations, assess business impacts and optimize internal customs procedures. Maintain complete customs clearance logs, tax records and document archives. Retain all customs files properly and support customs audits and annual reviews. Manage enterprise customs compliance risks, conduct regular internal compliance checks, identify and rectify procedural gaps to ensure all import and export activities comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations. Collaborate with finance and business teams to reconcile customs tax and declaration data, generate customs reports and provide internal compliance consultation. [Requirements] Mandatory: Possess a valid Customs Declarant Certificate issued by Vietnam General Department of Customs, able to be registered as the authorized declarant of the company. Education: College degree or above, major in International Trade, Customs & Freight, Logistics Management or related fields preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 year hands-on customs clearance experience in Vietnam. Familiar with clearance procedures at Ho Chi Minh ports. Candidates with prior experience supporting SLLC foreign company registration and customs filing are highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in VNACCS / VCIS customs declaration system. Solid knowledge of HS classification, duty calculation, origin certificate application and customs issue resolution. Language: Fluent in Vietnamese and Mandarin for communication with local authorities and headquarters. Good English is a plus. Competencies: Sound understanding of foreign-invested entity registration and import/export compliance in Vietnam. Meticulous, responsible, strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of independently handling government formalities.
