Student-Centered Support and Care:
Build a clear understanding of the individual learner’s strengths, needs, and support requirements through observation and guidance from supervising adults
Provide consistent, responsive support tailored to the learner’s needs, with attention to self-regulation, communication, and daily functioning
Promote the student’s well-being, sense of safety, and belonging through calm, respectful, and supportive interactions
Access and Inclusive Participation:
Support the student’s participation in learning experiences, routines, and transitions
Encourage engagement alongside peers in inclusive learning environments
Help reduce barriers to participation while fostering independence
Collaboration and Professional Practice:
Work in partnership with teachers, learning support staff, supervisors and families
Communicate observations appropriately, following the school’s procedure
Maintain confidentiality and respectful relationships

[Requirements]
- Bachelor’s degree in Education in ECD or in Lower School
- Fluency in Korean and English
- An appreciation and desire to work with all types of learners
- Comfortable in the use of technology including Google Suite, Zoom
- Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and professionalism to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Initiative and openness to receiving and giving feedback
- Strong desire to work with English learners and their families.
