• Support to maintain and enhance existing standard operation framework and work tools to drive Operational excellence across region. • Guide Operations team to develop and document detailed operational processes for mission critical functions. • Conduct workflow analysis and development of new processes to enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness. • Review and identify reporting requirements and work with IT and relevant team for expedited report development and distribution for analysis and solutioning to achieve enhanced business performance analysis against agreed parameters. • Assist to lead and drive Productivity initiatives and Continuous Improvement program across region. • Support to maintain and drive implementation and compliance of global security initiatives at all applicable sites across region. • Support to maintain and provide compliance training across region. • Supports implementation and management of new and ongoing business operations on selected Key Accounts as assigned covering, • Establishment of key KPIs with clients jointly with Commercial/Sales team and leverage on these indicators to drive internal process implementation and future improvements across region • Chair operational implementation meetings and follow-up to ensure region wide consistency in application of agreed SOP process. • Responsible for monitoring and managing escalations on operations processes and for meeting agreed KPI performance levels per customer’s service expectations. • Provide leadership, guidance / training and support to / motivate the team; develop appropriate succession plans. • Support on other related project tasks as and when required. [Requirements] Education, Experience, Certification and Training requirements • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience. • Relevant experience in a multi-modal freight forwarding operations especially in a Multinational Corporation environment is preferred. • Knowledge of key global security initiatives i.e. US C-TPAT, TAPA FSR/TSR and AEO would be beneficial. • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
