Role: Support growth Initiatives on Mattel Vietnam suppliers, develop, qualify and monitor suppliers in Vietnam; Certify suppliers to support FG manufacturers in Vietnam; Continuous drive the supplier’s QMS and components’ quality improvement. Responsibilities: • Develop, qualify and monitor suppliers’ quality management system, as well as work on readiness assessment per new / potential regulatory, legislative or sustainability requirement(s) / initiative(s) • Assist or lead supplier on problem solving and root cause investigation for preventive action • Track and review the results of quality KPIs with suppliers to determine the prompt actions • Provide training to supplier on Mattel updated procedures and requirements, then monitor the procedural enhancement and implementation [Requirements] • University or Technical College graduate with major in industrial or other relevant engineering disciplines. • Preferred work experience: 2-3 years. Experience in the Toy industry / household product / consumer goods / injection molding / plastic experience is an advantage. • Good communication in English, ability to speak basic Mandarin is an advantage. • Good knowledge on QMS, manufacturing process. • Good presentation, decisive and negotiation skills. Creativity and innovative thinking. • Frequent local travelling is required, occasionally need to stay at supplier factories for couple days to weeks. • Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
