Main Purpose & Objectives:
• Provide strategic leadership in managing and optimizing supply chain planning to support overall business objectives.
• Oversee all supply chain planning activities, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, promotional planning, and new product launches across ambient and chilled categories in Vietnam and Cambodia.
• Ensure the effective execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to support business performance.
• Drive efficient demand and supply cycles to deliver high service levels at optimal cost.
• Continuously enhance planning capabilities, processes, systems, and organizational effectiveness to improve service quality and cost efficiency.
• Own and drive supply chain planning KPIs and performance outcomes.
• Develop team capability through training and cross-functional knowledge sharing in planning disciplines.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
A. Demand Planning:
• Own and manage the demand forecasting process, including monthly rolling forecasts in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Analyze historical data and business drivers to develop statistically sound baseline forecasts using appropriate models.
• Lead monthly reviews of forecast accuracy and market intelligence, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Oversee supply chain planning activities for New Product Development (NPD).
• Lead pre-Demand Review (DR) and facilitate DR meetings.
• Drive continuous improvements in forecasting processes and tools.
• Support strategic demand planning aligned with business growth objectives.
B. Supply Planning:
• Manage coordination with local and regional supply chain teams on supply planning, inventory positioning, product delivery, and NPD readiness.
• Lead and supervise planning teams in Vietnam and Cambodia to ensure uninterrupted product supply.
• Optimize finished goods ordering and shipment planning, balancing MOQ, cost efficiency, and supply risk.
• Ensure efficient planning of inter-warehouse transfers at optimal cost.
• Support trade and marketing initiatives, including promotional planning and execution.
• Lead monthly supply and inventory analysis and reporting.
• Manage constrained supply scenarios with detailed short-term stock plans and collaborate with Sales on contingency actions (e.g., air freight decisions).
• Identify supply risks and implement Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to mitigate disruptions.
• Facilitate Supply Review (SR) meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supply planning processes and KPIs.
• Own both short-term execution and long-term strategic supply planning for the region.
C. Inventory Management:
• Develop and execute inventory strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring optimal stock levels by SKU.
• Implement structured inventory modeling based on parameters such as cycle stock, safety stock, lead times, DIFOT, DFA, and CFR.
• Leverage systems and tools to improve inventory visibility and optimization.
• Manage Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct periodic SKU portfolio reviews to drive standardization, optimization, and rationalization.
• Maintain accurate reporting and ensure consistent tracking and communication of inventory KPIs to regional stakeholders
D. SAP/System Management (Direct Procurement)
• Ensure accurate and timely creation of all direct purchase orders (POs) in the system.
• Ensure timely goods receipt (GR) prior to port arrivals.
• Monitor and ensure proper closure of all POs in alignment with IBP processes.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of master data for all products.
E. Business & Project Management:
• Develop and maintain robust Business Continuity Plans for demand and supply operations.
• Define system and data requirements for supply chain planning and manage associated master data and SOPs.
• Contribute to the development and execution of supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment of systems, processes, and resources.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
F. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment on integrated plans.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the supply chain and planning teams.
• Strengthen cross-regional collaboration and support planning teams across markets as needed.
[Requirements]
Education:
• University degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning
Experience:
• At least 05 years work experience in related work
• Preferred at least 02 years in management positions for a multinational company
Technical/Functional Expertise:
• Planning and Forecasting skills
• Statistical/ Mathematical background
• Inventory management
• Communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
• Knowledge on Microsoft Office system i.e. PowerBI, Excel Advance and PowerPoint
Industry Experience:
• FMCG
