LOCATION: Vietnam (North/ South) with travel within SEA JOB TITLE The QC Inspector is responsible for product quality control at manufacturing facilities to ensure all products meet Conair’s standards for quality, compliance, reliability and customer requirements. This position reports to the QA/QC Manager. This role conducts finished goods quality inspections, takes corresponding actions based on inspection results including non-conforming product control, drives manufacturers to implement quality improvements, follows up on rework and re-inspection processes, tracks EB/PP production progress, and relative quality activities. Key accountabilities: Quality Inspection and Issue Report Perform product inspections according to established quality standards and inspection procedures; classify defects based on inspection results and prepare the corresponding inspection reports. QC Records and Report Management Maintain inspection records and ensure that data is factual, accurate, and traceable; regularly summarize and submit reports to the supervisor. Nonconforming Product Control Classify, label, and segregate nonconforming finished products; apply nonconforming labels and clearly identify the reason for the issue. Quality Abnormalities Report and Follow Up Report quality abnormalities in a timely manner, follow up on rework and re-inspection, and verify that reworked products meet quality requirements. Inspection Equipment and Work Area Maintenance Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the inspection equipment, tools, and work area used for daily work. Production Quality Management Participate in on-site production quality management activities, such as EB/PP/MP follow up, defect cause analysis, employee training, and other related quality management work. [Requirements] Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic integration or related majors. - At least 4 years of experience in production quality management and supplier quality management. - Familiar with the functions, structure, performance specifications, manufacturing processes, and relevant quality standards of personal care products, culinary products or similar products. - Familiar with standard quality inspection items personal care products, culinary products or similar products, including appearance, functionality, safety, and performance specifications. - Proficient in finished-product inspection procedures, sampling plans, inspection methods, and the use of common inspection tools and instruments; able to independently complete finished-product inspections. - Able to quickly identify common product quality defects, such as cosmetic damage, malfunctioning buttons, electrical leakage, abnormal noise, and functional failures. Able to distinguish conforming from nonconforming products and accurately determine defect severity levels. - Skilled in completing QC reports and inspection records, with clear, accurate, and complete data. - Previous experience as a QC inspector for personal care products or culinary products is preferred. Skills: - Fluent in Chinese (speaking, reading and writing); proficient in English reading and writing. - Quality inspection skill, defect level classification, sample plan, AQL. - Proficient in the use of inspection tools and testing instruments & equipment. - Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system and safety standards (e.g. IEC, UL, GB) - Computer operation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. - Basic ability to analyze quality issues, with good coordination and communication skills. - Non-conforming product (NCR) disposal process, CAR, 8D report and continuous improvement practices.
