PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES To ensure that all orders are manufactured OTIF to the expected high standards, whilst also adhering to all Health and Safety policies. Supporting the manufacturing process, being available to cover stations when called upon. Responsible for the Quality Assurance of products produced within the Phu My Operation as assigned KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Ensure compliance and be responsibility with all HSE issues related to the Company. Supervise and inspect to ensure your employees comply with HSE regulations. • Ensure that all manufacturing quality is of the expected high standard, and the RDD’s are met, and all quality paperwork is adhered to. Ensure all quality issues are delt with and reported. • Continuously drive the team to maximise output • Minimise labour costs when possible whilst achieving manufacturing needs • Work in conjunction with the Manager / Supervisor to organise correct utilisation of manning within the business as a whole • Continuously look to reduce the scrap levels • Generate and implement initiatives that drive improvements • Ensure housekeeping is maintained and work areas are clean and free of debris • Working with the Manager / Supervisor to ensure all data reports and KPI’s are completed to drive efficiencies. • Conduct stocks checks and make sure they are maintained • Work closely with the Local Operations Team as well as the Divisional Operations Team to build both quality and product compliance into every product. • To support daily routine management and auditing of Quality Assurance activities within production areas and support Plant Managers in “Right First Time” shop floor quality control. • Work closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure product inspections are aligned with compliance requirements. • Collaborate with Procurement Team to ensure raw materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements through COA analysis and raw material testing procedures. • To ensure site adherence to and operation of the Compliance Management System responsibilities within ISO 37301. [Requirements] • Bachelor Engineering's degree, Vocational training, for example electrician or similar • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment • Competent numeracy and literacy skills • Previous RTW, investigations leadership skills advantageous • Good IT skills, including experience of using Microsoft programmes and SAP • Manufacturing knowledge and experience • A positive attitude towards continuous improvement • A willingness to be flexible regarding working hours.
